The Ducati Milano team rider signs the best time in the two-day test, prelude to the first historic race of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy!

It was a real dress rehearsal that was staged in Misano where with two days of testing the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy warmed up the engines in view of the first race scheduled on the Romagna track on 24.25 and 26 April.

Under the technical direction of Fabrizio Cecchini, protagonist for years in the world championship, the paddock of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy was confronted with a two-day “bizarre” from the atmospheric point of view, with spring temperatures on the first day and harshest climate during the second day, to stand out above all, Monday, April 13 was, with the time of 1’43’’195, Martin Galiuto who on the saddle of the team

l day 2 saw once again at the top of the Martin Galiuto timeline rankings that stopped the time hairs on the time of 1’42”562, filing by more than half according to the time of the previous day, 50 cents from the Milanese driver installed Devis Bergamini of the WRS team, third place for the Spaniard Jesus Torres of the Atomico team, followed by the Hungarian Bence Kescskes, with Vent Also worth highlighting is the two positive days for Vito Iconomu author of a good progression, well also the trend of the Polish Jacub Belak! Among the positive notes to be noted also the performance in constant progression of Angelo Filardi who has traveled more than 60 laps! Positive tests also for Andrea Mercaldo in search of the right feeling and for foreign riders the Israeli Eyal Assif, the Canadian Mario Grilli and the Indian Emmanuel Geoffrey! What made the difference, though, wasn't just the timing.

On the track in Misano we saw clearly the value of a method: that of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy, built to accompany the riders in a real path of growth. A structured work, coordinated by Garage 51 and guided by the careful supervision of Michele Pirro, constant presence and reference point on and off the track. Between briefings, analysis and trackwork, each shift has become part of a broader process, where talent meets precise direction and turns into performance. Because these first verdicts are not a point of arrival, but the beginning of a story. A concrete foreword of what this Academy wants to be: a place where method and talent grow together, curve after curve.

Ambassador V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy

“A pochissimi giorni dall’inizio ufficiale della prima edizione della V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy è stata una gioia vedere tutti questi giovani piloti, provenienti davvero da tutto il mondo, testare le V2, conoscere sempre meglio il circuito di Misano e soprattutto essere consapevoli del percorso tecnico, sportivo e professionale che hannointrapreso.

A few days after the official start of the first edition of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy it was a joy to see all these young riders, really from all over the world, testing the V2, getting to know the Misano circuit and above all being aware of the technical, sporty and professional route they have undertaken.

Already from this first season we have the awareness of having put on track a real “mundalito” for young and talented drivers and their commitment and perseverance have produced, already from these first tests, excellent results with significant times and a generalized growth in the performance of each of them! I would like to thank all the people who work on this project and all the fundamental partners who support it! I can’t really wait to live the first appointment planned right here in Misano in 10 days and I assure you it will be fun!"
