Lenovo V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy steals the show at the Centenary WDW

The Lenovo V2 Future Champ Academy Garage 51 Ducati championship continues to deliver twists and turns. After receiving a penalty for exceeding track limits that cost him victory in Saturday's Race 1, Andrea Migno bounced back in style by winning the Sunday race after 10 action-packed laps of the WRS Round, the seventh event of the 2026 season held during the Centenary World Ducati Week.

The WRS Team rider once again found Jesus Torres to be one of his toughest rivals, only managing to break away in the closing stages of the race. Thanks to his second-place finish and the corresponding 20 championship points, Torres further strengthened his lead in the standings, moving up to 120 points.

Claiming the final podium position was polesitter Devis Bergamini, who bounced back from Saturday's crash to secure a well-deserved podium finish while also setting the fastest lap of the race with a time of 1'39''769.

It was an unfortunate race for two of Saturday's leading contenders, Hungary's Farkas and Portugal's Martim Marco, both of whom crashed while battling at the front of the field.

Kevin Sabatucci and series newcomer Biagio Miceli finished fourth and fifth respectively. Diego Goretti and Nicola Tonolo recorded their best results of the season by crossing the line in sixth and seventh, while Lukács, Iconomu, and Tragni completed the Top 10.

The championship standings now see Jesus Torres further extending his lead with 120 points, holding a 17-point advantage over Devis Bergamini, 22 points over Kevin Sabatucci, and 32 points over Hosciuc, who was sidelined on Sunday by technical issues.

The Lenovo V2 Future Champ Academy Garage 51 Ducati will return to the track at the end of July for a double-header during the Italian CIV Championship, as part of the spectacular Racing Night weekend.
