Round 2 takes shape

It was Pier Francesco Venturini who claimed the Lotus Watches Pole Position Award during the second race weekend of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy, currently taking place at the legendary Mugello Circuit!

Venturini, riding for Atomico Racing Team, secured the fastest lap with a time of 1’56’’013. Just 71 thousandths behind him was Romanian rider Jacopo Hosciuc, representing OMV Racing by Racing Academy!

Starting from third position with a lap time of 1’56’’112 will be Devis Bergamini. The Misano poleman used the Q2 session to ride alone and find the right rhythm ahead of Sunday’s race.

Martim Marco, while the constant progress shown by the Talmacsi Racing riders saw Kevin Farkas and Bence Kecskes secure ninth and tenth place respectively!

The lap time improvements that characterized the second qualifying session highlighted once again how the main objective of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy — focused on developing young talents — is clearly being achieved session after session! With the practice days now concluded, everything at Mugello is set for Sunday’s race on May 10th, scheduled for 10:05 AM over a ten-lap distance, which will crown the winner of the Tuscan round!
