The Lenovo V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy sets up a thrilling season finale at the Ompi Round!

The penultimate round of the season confirms the remarkable competitiveness of the championship: Bergamini completes a stunning comeback in Race 2, taking the title fight all the way to the final round at Cremona.
Once again, Devis Bergamini emerged as the standout performer of the Lenovo V2 Future Champ Academy Garage 51 Ducati weekend.
The rider from Romagna completed a simply perfect weekend: after claiming yet another "Lotus Watches Pole Position Award" and victory in Race 1 of the OMPI Round at Misano, he repeated the feat in Race 2, securing an outstanding double victory.
Despite not making the best start from pole position, Bergamini responded with determination, steadily closing the gap before catching championship leader Jesus Torres.
The decisive overtaking move, completed just a few kilometres from the finish, allowed him to take the chequered flag in first place. Capping off a perfect Sunday, he also set the fastest lap of the race in 1'40''201 and collected the 25 points for the victory.
Torres crossed the line in second after another solid performance that enabled him to retain the championship lead, while Jacopo Hosciuc completed the podium in third.
The OMV Racing Academy rider benefited from a two-position penalty handed to Portugal's Marco Martim for "irresponsible riding", dropping him to fifth place in the final classification.
Elia Bartolini finished fourth. Completing the top ten were Kevin Sabatucci in sixth, Kevin Farkas in seventh, Martin Galiuto in eighth, Diego Goretti in ninth, and Raffaele Tragni in tenth. Also worth noting was the fourteenth-place finish of Israeli rider Eyal Assif.
It was an unfortunate weekend, however, for Andrea Migno, Vito Iconomu and Tomas Lukacs, all of whom were forced to retire after crashes in the opening stages of the race.
Bergamini's Misano double has completely reignited the championship battle.
In the overall standings, Jesus Torres remains in the lead with 156 points, but his advantage over the Italian rider has been reduced to just three points.
Kevin Sabatucci and Jacopo Hosciuc also remain mathematically in contention, sitting 39 and 42 points respectively behind the Spanish championship leader.
The season finale now moves to the Cremona Circuit, where the eagerly awaited final showdown will take place over the 19-20 September weekend to decide the first-ever Lenovo V2 Future Champ Academy Garage 51 Ducati champion.
