The show continues at Mugello!

Just a few hours ago, among the Tuscan hills, the engines of the Ducati V2 machines fell silent after lighting up Mugello during an intense and meaningful test day — the final step before the second seasonal round of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy.

On the ribbon of asphalt of one of the world’s most iconic circuits, the young talents of the series began writing a new chapter in their journey. Lap after lap, session after session, work turned into method: setup testing, technical refinements and the search for the limit, all under the expert eye of technical manager Fabrizio Cecchini and with the constant support of the Garage 51 structure.

Guiding this process, both on and off the track, was Michele Pirro, Ambassador of the Ducati Academy, who shared experience, lines and vision with the riders. An absolute reference point, capable of turning every corner of Mugello into an opportunity for real growth. Among the surprises of the day was also the track debut of Luigi Ronzio, innovation manager at Garage 51, who wanted to experience first-hand the potential of the Ducati V2, directly feeling what this project represents: performance, balance, evolution.

Now all eyes are already on the weekend of May 8–10, when Mugello will once again become the stage for battle. After Jacopo Hosciuc’s double victory at Misano, the fight for leadership is heating up: Jesus Torres, Devis Bergamini, Pierfrancesco Venturini and an international group of riders ready to push beyond their limits, coming from every corner of the world, are determined to leave their mark.

The program will get underway on Friday, May 8, with the first free practice session from 10:15 to 10:35, followed in the afternoon by FP2 (15:20–15:40).

Saturday will be the moment of truth with qualifying: Q1 at 11:55 (20 minutes) and Q2 at 17:45.

Then, on Sunday, the wait will be over. At 10:05, the race will get underway: 10 laps for the third round of the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy. Ten laps in which talent, vision and determination will meet once again — and the future will accelerate. Once more!
